Using Moises Stems in Ableton Live.

Installation guide to Ableton Live:

Requirements:

  • Have Ableton Live installed

  • Have previously installed the Stems plugin using the Moises desktop app. If you're having issues installing the plugin, check out this article.

Steps:

  1. Go to your plugins category inside Ableton Live, and look for "Stems".
  2. There's a Category folder containing a lot of components. Search for Plug-Ins, and there will be options for VST and VST3 plug-ins. Choose VST3 Moises Stems Stems.vstpreset.

    If, by any chance, "Stems" does not show up in your list of installed plugins, make sure you have both the AudioUnit Plug-ins and VST3 Plug-in system folders' scan enabled. You can check this out by going to "Live > Preferences > Plug-ins"

  3. After successfully opening your stems plugin, a code validation screen will appear. Follow the instructions on this screen to sync the Stems plugin with your Moises account.
