Is Moises different across platforms and devices?

  • Updated

As you might know, Moises is available to you on different platforms suited for each specific device model, which means that you can adjust your experience according to the device you prefer to use. If you're not aware yet, check this article out: Where is Moises available?

Now, let's break down the most noticeable differences between them so you can decide which one you prefer to use and, of course, test them all out according to your needs to make this decision.

Mobile (iOs and Android) and iPad App:

To learn how to use the Mobile App, see this related article.

Here's what you'll find there:

AI Audio Separation, Mixer/Player, Upload files, Export in MP3 and M4A, Chord Detection, Smart Metronome, Audio Speed Changer, AI Key Detection, Key Changer, Count-in, Loop music parts, Trim music parts, Setlist (including inviting people to your setlist), Track update (which allows you to change the separation without having to re-upload a file), AI Lyrics Transcription, AI Detected Sections, set to Play songs on repeat, Play songs in a queue, play all songs.

Here's what you can't do with this option:

Export in WAV, Edit Lyrics, visualize the player in wave format, use the Mastering feature, and use the Lyric Writer.

Web and Desktop App:

AI Audio Separation, Mixer/Player, Upload files, Export in MP3, M4A and WAV* (*Premium/Pro subscribers only), Chord Detection, Smart Metronome, Audio Speed Changer, AI Key Detection, Key Changer, Count-in, Select and Loop music parts, Setlist (including inviting people to your setlist), Track update (which allows you to change the separation without having to re-upload a file), AI Lyrics Transcription, AI Detected Sections, Edit Lyrics, visualize the player in wave format, use the Mastering feature, and use the Lyric Writer.

Here's what you can't do with this option:

Trim music parts. For Firefox users: you can't use Audio Speed Changer, AI Key Detection, or Key Changer properly due to a limitation within that browser; we recommend switching to Chrome or Opera.

Specific computer models may not run our Desktop App; check if your device model is one of them here: Windows / Mac.

Overall, the best option we advise is to test them for yourself and decide which one suits your needs more (maybe you'll even prefer to use them all depending on the day 😁).
