Moises AI Studio uses a credit system to measure how much content you can generate through the platform. Every credit lets you generate 30 seconds of audio. Credits come in two types: free credits and paid credits. Each works a little differently.
Here is how it all fits together:
What is a Credit?
- One credit (free or paid) equals 30 seconds of content generated through Moises AI Studio.
- Partial blocks round up to the next 30-second increment. For example, a 35-second clip uses 2 credits.
Credits
Every month, you receive a set number of free credits based on your plan level:
- Free users receive 60 free credits per month.
- Premium subscribers receive 200 free credits per month.
- Pro subscribers enjoy unlimited credits.
- Unused free credits expire at the end of each month.
- Free credits are always used before any paid credits.
Plan Changes and Credit Balances
Switching plans does not reset your credit usage for the current month. It only changes your total free-credit allowance.
Example 1: You upgrade from Free to Pro after using 60 credits. Your new allowance is unlimited.
Example 2: You downgrade from Pro to Free after using 200 credits. Your new allowance is 60 − 200 = −140, so you have no free credits left for that month.
Example 3: You downgrade from Pro to Premium after using 50 credits. Your new allowance is 100 − 50 = 50 free credits remaining.
Important Note: Negative free-credit balances do not carry over to the next month and do not block you from buying paid credits.
